Shopping: Keds x Kate Spade NY

When I was in grade school, Tretorn was all the rage. Then Keds came along, and that became a hit. It's been a while since I bought Keds. Maybe it's an age thing. But this collaboration with Kate Spade NY is so adorable, I think I may have to rethink my footwear choices. Haha. Ang kyot kasi noh.

I think these sneakers would look so adorable with colorful cropped pants. I think I can still pull it off. Haha. I love the stripes and the ginghams. The hot pink ones work too. :)

They're supposedly available at Kate Spade NY, Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com since February 2013. But I can't find them there. Anyone knows where to get them?

Update: They are in Kate Spade NY stores in Bangkok, but pricewise, it's way too much -- almost twice the price than if you buy online.

Fashion: Kate Spade Saturday

"It's Saturday everyday."

You all know I am a Kate Spade fan. I love everything and anything Kate Spade.

So of course, I got excited when I heard about the new venture that's called Kate Spade Saturday. It targets a younger clientele, and from the looks of it, it's mainly an online shop (www.saturday.com) with a freestanding flagship store in Japan. This new collection includes items from apparel to home decor, and has a price point that's 50% off most Kate Spade stuff.

I can't wait!

Crafts/DIY: Starbucks Make-Your-Own Tumbler Design

We got this tumbler for my dad from Starbucks and personalized it with a photo of him and Allie.

You can change the design of the insert inside the tumbler and make it your own. The downside? I didn't find any readily available template from the Starbucks website.

So, what I did was I scanned the insert so that it would be to size, and manipulated the design in Photoshop. Below is the final product.

Kind of blurry, but you get the point. :)
