Drink: Ginger Tea and Sympathy

I've been sick for the past couple of days, so I wasn't able to post stuff recently. I started with an itchy throat. I feel a lot better, although I still have the sniffles. My constant companion? Twinings of London Lemon and Ginger tea with a little bit of sage honey. :)

It reminded me of The Spa's ginger tea. Although that one is so much better -- it has this pandan and caramelized sugar taste.

But for now, Twinings will do.

  2. I love ginger tea when I'm sick. Whether or not it really works, I love the medicinal feel. I have someone boil and steep the ginger fresh for me, but when there's no one, I go for Twinings too. Really good quality tea. I hope you feel better soon :)

    1. Thank you Maita. Yes, I love that tinge of warm/cool feeling as it passes through my throat when I drink ginger tea. Haha!

  3. glad your a little better dear, I was sick too all last week after Aidan's party, I guess pagod and a nasty bug combined. Not much of a tea person, not yet, my mom is though, but she's into green tea. I drink occassionally, usually with milk, but maybe I should try this variety. :-)

    1. Oo nga. It seemed like this is the season of bugs going around. I love milk tea too. Have you tried milk tea with bobba pearls (sago that pops in your mouth)? Nakakagulat!

  4. I love ginger tea, and for a cold, try steeping it in warmed up orange juice. Extra good and more Vitamin C. If it's tummy troubles, this won't work as it's too acidy, but is great for a cold. Love your articles, hope you're better soon. Come visit me when you are: http://cookingwnana.wordpress.com/
