Crafts/DIY: Iron-on Onesies

My husband has been on the lookout for onesies with the "Little Miss" characters. He did not find any. So, he got onesies from Target at about $1.40 a pop (on clearance) and some iron-on transfer papers, and "Little Miss" images he liked and DIYed it.

He used iron-on transfer paper that can be printed on dark colored fabrics, just in case. Below are the results.

He enjoyed making them so much, he made some more... this time, Angry Birds style.

... and here's our favorite... (see if you can figure it out.)

Give up? It's "Comma, comma, comma, comma, comma chameleon". Cute eh?

  3. @ Esther: I know! He really did a great job!
@ Ruby: He searched for "comma chameleon" in google images, and just edited it to fit Baby A's onesie (oh yeah, and he changed the pattern, too, to make it more girly).

  4. Hi looks amazing! Is there a reason why he used the iron on transfer paper for dark colours instead of the light one? I'd like to do some for my daughter in various colours.. so not sure which transfer paper is best. Any tips will be appreciated.

    1. Hi Laurene! These were extra transfer papers we had lying around. Using the transfer paper for dark colors will transfer white as white (see the eyes of the angry birds one). If you use the one for light colors, white will transfer as transparent (and I guess lighter colors will transfer as less opaque too), so you'll see it as your shirt color. :) Hope this helps!
